The Project for Awesome is officially over! Thank you so much to those of you who made videos, voted on videos, commented on videos, and pledged your money and/or time to charity. The world is a better place because of you.
The past few days have been so fun, and we want to try to recap all of the greatness that went on. If you have posts of your favorite moments of the P4A, please submit them to us (preferably by linking to posts you’ve already made); we’re going to create a giant Project for Awesome retrospective post that highlights as much of the ridiculousness as we can.
Thanks again to all who helped put the “Awesome” in Project for Awesome—we love you all very much, and GET SOME SLEEP!
PEOPLE. For real perfect 1:1 scale hoverboard replica. Like in Back to the Future Part II (of the greatest movie trilogy of all time) SIGNED by the SourceFed crew (and PhillyD). LOOK AT THIS STUFF. For charity! For the Project for Awesome! Go bid!
Here’s the item’s description:
Although this is a non working replica, it’s a perfect 1:1 scale model, and was created in collaboration with the film’s special effects supervisor Michael Lantieri alongside prop maker Mary Anne Lantieri and Bob Gale. Even though this bad boy won’t send you flying through the air like Marty McFly, it does have some awesome nostalgia for a True Back To The Future fan. As an added bonus, signed by Phil DeFranco and the cast of SourceFed.
“non-working replica” of a hoverboard. <3 <3 <3
Wheatonism is spreading, methinks.
