WIL WHEATON dot TUMBLR
thedorseyshawexperience:

Mount St. Helens erupted 32 years ago today at 8:32 am. It still is the deadliest and most economically destructive volcanic event in the history of the United States.
I was totally obsessed with Mount St. Helens when I was a kid.

My wife grew up near Portland, and we still have a little vial of ash from the eruption that she scooped off her driveway.

I have a pair of earrings made from glass formed when Mt. St. Helens erupted. They look like emeralds.
