• like 30 states don’t already have laws banning same-sex marriage on their books
• so what are they worried about, exactly?
• That young Americans will get wise to their gays-hating shtick, declare that things like banning marriage equality are actually pretty fucking heartless and stupid
• and if not during this generation then the next one they’ll overturn some of the really shitty things that states like North Carolina did just yesterday
• and they’ll all have to explain to Jesus H. Christ himself in the afterlife that they’re really sorry they couldn’t do more to stop
