Abandoned Amusement Park in New Orleans

they say New orleans is haunted… this has proved the theory 100%

I kind of want to go to a convention and cosplay as Sparks McGee.

… I need to figure out how to make a rainbow uniform that will fit me.

This is where I’d put a picture of my face, with cartoon hearts over my eyes, only the hearts are beating, because I love this so much.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) intends to run for president — of the United States — and he’s been a guest on Alex Jones’ show.

In other words, the guy raising the specter of Obama using “weather weapons” to kill Oklahomans is the same guy helping influence several Republican policymakers in 2013.

Maybe it’s just me, but I find that rather alarming.

Creating a life that reflects your values and satisfies your soul is a rare achievement. In a culture that relentlessly promotes avarice and excess as the good life, a person happy doing his own work is usually considered an eccentric, if not a subversive. Ambition is only understood if it’s to rise to the top of some imaginary ladder of success. Someone who takes an undemanding job because it affords him the time to pursue other interests and activities is considered a flake. A person who abandons a career in order to stay home and raise children is considered not to be living up to his potential-as if a job title and salary are the sole measure of human worth. You’ll be told in a hundred ways, some subtle and some not, to keep climbing, and never be satisfied with where you are, who you are, and what you’re doing. There are a million ways to sell yourself out, and I guarantee you’ll hear about them.

So, I was counting the drawer at work, and I found an artifact from the Mishapocalypse.

I know Misha. If somehow this dollar makes its way into my possession, I can get it to him.

LFG Charity Update:

uncalar:

Sadly it’s official. The top bidder for the Death by Richard LFG Guest Appearance has reneged on their winning bid. I am now in the process of contacting the next highest bidder(s) to see if any of them will be willing to honor their highest bids.

Currently the challenge total is just over $8000. Fingers crossed that some bidder will still be able to come through and nudge us higher or even over the top of our goal of $10,000 for Multiple Sclerosis research. :)

This happened to me when I did a charity auction a few months ago on eBay. IMHO, someone who backs out of the winning bid in a charity auction should have their account banned and lose the privilege of participating in any auctions in the future.
